Evidence
- New P.E. mapping shows our ambition to continue to develop our Health and Wellbeing offer.
- Pupil opportunities to lead learning and curriculum events (e.g. morning activities).

Substrands
Physical Health
- Swimming and P.E. Lessons.
- Lots of promotion of a range of sports to encourage pupils to develop their passions.
- Lots of opportunities for pupils to play in sports teams.
Emotional Health
-Access to ELSA.
- Opportunities for pupils to reflect and become self-aware. Opportunities for pupils to learn about the importance of sleep, food and friendships to support our emotional health.
-Opportunities for pupils to speak to safe adults.
Use of Humour
- Staff use humour and teach pupils how to use humour without being rude or unkind.
Perseverance
- Links with our motto and with our school aims. We encourage pupils to give their all to everything that they do and to understand the importance of sustained effort.
- Importance of perseverance - we celebrate the achievements of all.
Understanding how people learn
- Staff use a range of different pedagogical strategies and we support pupils to reflect upon how they have been successful (pupil reviews... pupil targets)
Being Independent
- Reciprocal reading and various activities have created opportunities for pupils to share their learning and provide feedback to others.
- REAL - Choosing.
- Arrangement of learning throughout the day.

Impact

- Opportunities for Friendly sport have been very well supported. We need to continue to develop these - (See the new plan for 2024-2025).
